Hi Aniela,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Since my girls have food allergies, we have lots of practice navigating the Walt Disney World Resort with food allergies. First, I suggest that you review the information at
Special Dietary Requests. Second, I suggest that you make advanced dining reservations for table-service restaurants. When you make those reservations, note the food allergies on the reservation. If your specific allergies are not listed, call to speak to a cast member in dining at 407-939-1947. When we dine at table-service restaurants, generally, one of the chefs comes out to speak to us.
At quick-service restaurants, look for the allergy-friendly menus. We also bring some of our own pre-packaged snacks to be sure we have snacks that are safe for the girls to eat. Having said that, our experience has been amazing. Cast members have been so helpful and the Special Dietary Request team has provided great personalized attention. On my last visit, two members of our group were Vegan. When we dined at Trail's End Restaurant, the chefs prepared the most delicious meals and delightful desserts for them!
Aniela, considering the best parks for your young people, I would suggest Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom has a wide variety of attractions and Disney's Hollywood Studios just opened Toy Story Land - it may be perfect for your 5-year old. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, your 5-year old and 10-year old could also join the battle against the Dark Side at Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Your 10-year old and 15-year old could ride The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Having said that, our girls love all of the parks!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
