Can you still opt out of mousekeeping if you have a stay of 21 nights?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Helen!

First, allow me to say: you are truly living the dream with your 21-day stay at Walt Disney World Resort! Your family will truly be able to enjoy all the fun and excitement in the theme parks, along with some relaxing vacation vibes, and it just doesn’t get much better than that. ChEARs to a lovely, lovely holiday!

Service Your Way is a great new program offered at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels in the value and moderate booking categories. Guests may opt out of daily Mousekeeping service in exchange for a gift card (currently $10, though this is subject to change) for each night of their stay, minus the last night. So, for a 21-day stay, if Service Your Way is available at your resort hotel, you could receive Service Your Way credits for 20 nights of your stay - that’s a WHOLE lot of Dole Whips! I checked with a Cast Member, who confirmed you should be able to use Service Your Way for this length of stay, but you’ll need to check with your resort’s front desk Cast Members to ensure the program is available to you and to request the service.

Helen, with Service Your Way, you’ll still be able to contact Mousekeeping from your room phone to request new linens, towels, toiletries, or other services. I’ve always had wonderful interactions with the Mousekeeping Cast Members, and they will do what they can to ensure you have all your necessities taken care of so you can focus on fun and relaxation.

Have so much fun counting down to your holiday, and please come back and see us if we can help as you plan and dream. I highly recommend reading the Disney Parks Blog as you prepare for your visit, as they post great updates about new experiences and tasty treats that can be found in the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. I always arrive with a running list of snacks, drinks, and must-sees!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
