Hi there- if we opt to use fast pass + for the rides, and not the Nemo and Lion King shows at AK, will there still be room in the shows? It is first come first serve? We'd love to see them too. Thanks!

    Hi there Emily!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I have never personally used FastPass+ for the shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. My family always prefers to use our 3 initial FastPass+ selections on the attractions. Seating for the shows is on a first-come, first-served basis for those that do not utilize FastPass+ service. That being said, I have never had any problems finding a seat for either Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo - The Musical when arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. Based on my own personal experience, I would suggest using your 3 FastPass+ selections on attractions that your family wants to experience and then arriving at both shows early to guarantee a seat. You may also want to consider watching a show earlier in the day, so that you have the opportunity to try for a later show if seating was unavailable at the earlier time.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Emily!

    Happy Planning,
