    Can you opt out of the biometrics for ark entry and what is the process?

     Welcome to planDisney, Beth. We're so glad you're here! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few, short weeks away. How exciting!

     Tapping my MagicBand+ at the theme park digital tapstyles makes my heart so happy. I just know there are pixie-dusted adventures ahead! I can tell you that biometric data is not collected at the digital tapstyles, but if the thought of scanning your finger makes you uncomfortable, not to fret. Before you leave for a theme park, be sure to have a photo ID with you that matches the name on the ticket. Then, when you arrive at the theme park, stop by the Guest Relations window at the entrance. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you! 

     In the meantime, I encourage to read an answer my fellow panelist, Amy, wrote about biometric data collection and the Walt Disney World Resort. It's super interesting and very informative!
