I have the opportunity to take my daughter to WDW in 2011. She'll be 2 1/2. Is this a good age to go or should I wait until she's 4 1/2 (my next opportunity to go)?

    Hi Brittany,

I think I can safely speak for all of the moms (and dad) on the panel when I say, GO!!  Honestly, I've taken children as young as 8 months, and I wouldn't trade that experience for anything.  At every age there is something new and magical to discover.

She may not remember everything (or anything, for that matter) about this trip, but you will.  You'll remember the characters that make her laugh and the little face full of wide-eyed wonder.  The memories you create will be priceless, and as she grows older, you'll be able to relive those memories through photos.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation (whenever you decide to go)!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
