what are your opinion's on how much xtra $$ to bring with us? We are getting the deluxe DDP. I know we will want a few things to take home. How much are the margaritas at Epcot? Also is there a way to sample all the dif food @ Epcot w/o dining at a rest?

    Hi Lindsey,

What a great question!  Thanks for asking about the amazing food available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  Be sure to bring your appetite if you are getting the deluxe Disney dining plan.  With two table service meals per day, you are going to have the chance to try some truly extraordinary cuisine.  Keep in mind, however, that the Disney dining plans do not include gratuities or alcoholic beverages so you'll want to bring along extra cash to cover those expenses.  To give you an idea what a premium alcoholic beverage will cost, let's look at the margaritas available at Epcot's new La Hacienda de San Angel restaurant.  Their Mango Blueberry Basil Margarita is $13 and their Lime Raspberry Margarita runs $12.50.  Be sure to call Disney for reservations for your table service meals.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance of your check-in date to book those reservations.

Of course, you don't have to have a table service meal to try the wide variety of foods at Epcot.  Several of the pavilions offer fare from their native lands at quick service restaurants.  For instance, you could grab a bratwurst at Germany's Sommerfest or an egg roll at China's Lotus Blossom Cafe.  Native snacks and candies are also available for purchase at each pavilion's gift shop.

How much money to bring for souvenirs is a very personal choice.  Rest assured there are wonderful keepsakes to purchase at all price points.  You're going to have plenty of fun eating and shopping on your magical Walt Disney World vacation.

I hope this information has been helpful!
