    I would like an opinion from some of you. Have reservations for Apr. at ASM. Have been several times & love theming. Promo would allow us to change to CBR for just lil more $. What are the pros/cons to switching resorts? (Don't like idea of internal bu

    Welcome to the Moms Panel Katie! We're glad you're hEAR!

    My family and I love the Caribbean Beach Resort (CBR). This resort offers 7 pools verses 2 at the All-Star Movies (ASM) Resort. Each Village has its own quieter pool but my family loved the main pool with the waterslides.  You can also relax in the spa pool in this area.  If you have smaller children, there is also a great shipwreck water play area. The main pool is near the food court and the Banana Cabana Pool Bar. Its a fun festive atmosphere.

    CBR also offers more dining options than ASM. In addition to the food court they offer casual dining at Shutters at Old Port Royale.

    For my family, we loved taking a break from the parks and enjoying some of the recreational activities that CBR offered like:
    * Bike Rentals - we loved taking a Surrey Bike around Barefoot Bay
    * Boats rentals - they have a variety from motorized boats to sailboats to canoes
    * Beach Volley Ball Court
    * Playgrounds
    * Fishing
    * Jogging trail around Barefoot Bay

    They also offer a Pirate Adventure Cruise for kids 4 - 12 which would offer you a little quiet time to relax.

    We requested a room near Old Port Royale so we avoided using the buses and had a great time. Even if you have to use the buses, I would take advantage of the promo code and stay at CBR. With all it has to offer, you really do get more of a resort feeling instead of a hotel.  Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
