Welcome back to planDisney, Nancy! We love to see a returning guest and I'm always delighted to help a fellow resident of the Keystone state plan a Magical vacation.
Nancy, as a guest who has traveled with my kids, parents and grandparents, I appreciate this question and understand the importance of keeping everyone's stamina in mind. Now that my kids are a bit older
(no more diaper bags or strollers hEAR!) we've incorporated
park hopping into our Disney days, but when they were little AND when we were touring with my grandmother in tow, we kept to one park per day.
Because there is so much to see and do in each park, we felt like the added transportation time and hustle and bustle of moving everyone was too much for the youngest and oldest in our party. I also made sure to leave some flexibility in the middle of the day to rest, snack and recharge if needed. There are attractions at each park that are perfect for "resting" while still enjoying the Magic. My favorite midday spots are:
Country Bear Jamboree and
The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom Park,
A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom,
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along at EPCOT and
Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Nancy, while no two families are the same, I hope my experience helps as you're deciding what is best for your party. Whatever ticket you choose, I'll be wishing on a star that you have a wonderful vacation with your family. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions.
