What is your opinion on the Disney BeachClub Villas? I heard the pool is really nice? Are there places to grab a quick sandwich or something to eat (food court style)?

Our family loves the Beach Club Villas. We stayed in a studio villa and were very pleased with everything about the resort.

The Stormalong Bay pool complex is fantastic. There’s a wonderful slide, sandy areas for kids of all ages, bubbling jets, whirlpools and a small lazy river to enjoy with inner tubes.

The Beach Club does not have a food court. There is a very limited menu of sandwiches at the Beach Club Marketplace. This is where you can get your very handy refillable mugs though.

Hurricane Hanna’s Grill located pool-side offers more “food court” type menu items along with kid’s meals that are packaged in a sand pail with shovel. Perfect for playing after meal time. I think this option encouraged our son to take a break to eat!

What I enjoy about this location is the easy access to food at the Boardwalk and inside Epcot. For example, I love pizza. But I dislike the personal pizzas that are offered at the counter service restaurants in the resorts and parks. I was very pleased to discover the Spoodles Boardwalk Pizza Window that offers pizza slices within walking distance to the Beach Club! Hey, the walk helped burn off the calories, right?! Also on the Boardwalk are fast food kiosks serving hot dogs, nachos and other tasty treats.

The Beaches and Cream restaurant has yummy diner-type food along with delectable ice cream treats. I ordered a kid’s grilled cheese for myself. Our family loves to have ice cream at this location for a late night snack.

I absolutely love being able to walk to Epcot via the International Gateway entrance. Taking the water launch to the Hollywood Studios was also a wonderfully relaxing way to travel.

Take a chance at this seaside resort. It’s a casual but deluxe place to reside during your vacation. I’ll be checking in there in less than 2 weeks. I can’t wait!
