Hello, in your opinion which is a better dinning experience at ohana the character breakfast or the dinner? I think my daughter would like the characters and my husband would like the dinner, I'm torn between the two. Thanks!

Hello Jennifer!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love dining at 'Ohana for breakfast and dinner and have done so many times.

My daughter is 7 and she agrees she would rather eat there for dinner.  It is, by far, our favorite meal at Walt Disney World.  We love the dinner so much, we actually try to eat there two times during each of our vacations.  The food is very good.  It is all cooked on a wood fire grill right in the middle of the restaurant. We love the appetizers, meat selections and sides.  Make sure to leave some room for the bread pudding, it is some of the best I've ever had!  If the standard menu options don't appeal to your daughter, you can always ask your server what other options they have available for her.  Your server will be more than happy to bring her something else, I know when we have dined there some of the options included chicken nuggets and a hot dog.  My daughter is the pickiest of eaters but she really does enjoy the food. Not only is the meal delicious, we really enjoy the dining room entertainment.  You can participate in coconut races around the restaurant, find out how low you can go with the limbo and even shake your hips learning the hula.  It is a really fun dining experience.  Here's a tip!  Try to make your dining reservations 1 hour prior to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and ask for a window table.  When you are just about to finish up your meal and enjoy dessert, the lights will dim and music gets piped in from the show.  It is a great view of the fireworks and a great way to end a meal at Walt Disney World!

Whatever meal you decide to eat at 'Ohana, I know you are going to love.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
