Hiya Marcus - welcome back to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with another question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Disney's PhotoPass Service comes with so many exciting features and experiences, and the list just keeps growing! Just last week
exciting new offerings were announced, including new Video Memories, Magic Shots, and more!
Marcus, the PhotoPass Studio at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is currently a static watercolor backdrop and gold curtain. Cinderella's glass slipper is also usually available as a prop. This can change from time to time, but this version is the least "themed" of the options in recent years. It is located on the second floor of the Resort's main building above the lobby. This is not really a "full-service" studio and thus there is not always a PhotoPass Photographer stationed directly at the backdrop. You may, however, find PhotoPass Photographers at other locations in and around the lobby from time to time. You can always ask them if you could have a few pictures taken with the backdrop if you'd like!
In my experience, a PhotoPass Photographer has been at the backdrop during busier times in the morning and around dinner time, but there isn't a set schedule. You can always speak to a Cast Member at the Front Desk to learn if there are specific times scheduled for that day, but please know that they are subject to change.
If you really want an amazing PhotoPass Studio experience, I highly recommend heading over to the
PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs. That Studio has it all, including some exciting new themed backgrounds, virtual backgrounds, and more!
I'm sorry that I don't have more detailed information to share, but I'm sure you'll capture some amazing memories throughout your visit no matter what!
