With the opening of the new Runaway Train at HS, I know they have fast pass available, however, will they also be allowing guests use their disability assistance pass to reserve times as well?

    Hi Jillian!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are just two days away from the Grand Opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. With Goofy as the Engineer, be prepared for unexpected twists, loads of giggles, and tons of excitement. I am so excited about this attraction as it is based on the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts that my family and I love so much.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is an attraction that Guests of any height can experience. Those using assistive devices such as wheelchairs or ECV’s will be asked to transfer into the ride vehicle. As you mentioned, FastPass+ is available for this attraction! FastPass+ selections can be made beginning 60 days in advance of your arrival if you are staying at the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests staying outside of the Walt Disney World Resort can make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of your arrival.

There are many Services for Guests with Disabilities, including the Disability Access Service Card. While there has been no official word regarding the use of DAS for this exciting new attraction, I suspect that they will allow guests to use the Disability Access Card to obtain a return time. I suggest that you check with Guest Services at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or the greeting Cast Member at the attraction entrance.

Thanks for stopping by to see us! We hope to see you again soon!
