    When will the 2019 opening date of the new Star Wars land Galaxy's Edge be announced?

    Greetings and salutations Denise! The force is strong in bringing you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

    Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is currently under construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I have checked with a few Resistance and Rebel spies regarding an official opening date. Their last coded transmission only confirmed that the Millennium Falcon will be landing at some point in 2019.  

    You will be able to visit the remote outpost on Batuu and enjoy a glass of blue milk at the Cantina before you know it. Resistance spies have also told me that you will be able to celebrate with some of your favorite Star Wars characters like BB-8 and Chewbacca. You can stretch out your feelings or visit the Disney Parks Blog to stay up-to-date with all things Star Wars and important construction updates.
