An opening came up at Cinderella's Royal Table. I didn't want to lose the spot so I booked & had to pre-pay. If we add the dining plan now, will this be auto applied against the dining plan cost or will I still have to pay for it separately?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon!

Isn't it so exciting when a reservation you were looking for pops up before your vacation? I have a trip coming up in a few weeks and I was thrilled when a reservation for Be Our Guest Restaurant opened up when I was checking recently. Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle is a hot ticket so I totally understand why you snapped that reservation up right away and pre-paid for it!

If you decide to add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package before you go, you can certainly choose to apply two Table-Service credits per person to your meal at Cinderella's Royal Table. After you've purchased your Dining Plan, you can call the Dining Reservations number and have them apply your credits to your meal and refund the credit card you used to book your reservation. You also have the option to keep your prepaid reservation the way it is and save your Table-Service credits for other meals. The Dining Plan is pretty flexible, so you can do whatever works best for you and your family!

I hope this answers your question, Shannon, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
