Family at Halloween Party Entrance Disneyland Park

    If we have Ooogie Boogie tickets and can access the park 3 hours before, does that mean we are allowed to wear our costumes at 3:00 pm? Or are costumes only allowed once the event officially starts?

    I’m so excited for you to attend Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party later this month! My daughter and I recently attended this special event, and we had a blast!

    I’m happy to report that you may wear your costume upon entering Disney California Adventure Park at 3:00 PM, since that’s when your ticket allows entry. This is a great way to experience Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort before Oogie Boogie Bash officially kicks off at 6:00 PM! Just make sure your costume follows the Costume Guidelines listed here so you won’t have any issues upon arrival. I also recommend trying to eat dinner before the event begins, so that you can focus your time on finding your favorite Characters and experiencing all the magic of this awesome event. 

    You definitely won’t want to miss seeing Ernesto de la Cruz – he’s amazing to see in person! You may want to attempt to visit him during one of the parade viewings for a shorter wait. Also, I recommend waiting until the very end of the party to visit Villains Grove to experience the walk through Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at your own pace. My daughter and I headed over to Villains Grove after the second showing of the Frightfully Fun Parade for the perfect timing!
