Can I use my Oogie Boogie character Popcorn bucket from Disneyland and use it at Disney world for the $2 refills?

Hi Cynthia, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for popping by with your question.

My entire family loves the refillable popcorn buckets at Walt Disney World, and one of our priorities when arriving at a theme park is picking one up at the first popcorn cart we pass. They're such a good deal for salty snack fans, and we even use them at home! Just last weekend we watched Black Widow on Disney+ and enjoyed treats from some of our Disney popcorn buckets.

Cynthia, since you are eligible for $2 refills (price subject to change without notice) for the length of your stay in the Walt Disney World Resort, your Oogie Boogie bucket from Disneyland Resort would not qualify. If the smell of buttery goodness calls to you like the sea calls to Moana, I think you'll find purchasing a new popcorn bucket well worth the cost. My panelist pal, Donyell, recommends putting something personal on your refillable bucket so you can identify it as yours should the need arise. Her family accidentally left their popcorn bucket at a quick-service restaurant but were able to locate it at Lost & Found since one of her daughters had tied a hairband to it.

I hope you have a fantastic time on your upcoming fall vacation. You'll be arriving just as Walt Disney World's 50th-anniversary celebration is getting underway, so be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and social media to keep up with all of the excitement!

Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
