Hi Ryan,
Welcome to planDisney! Halloween is my absolute favorite time of year at the Disneyland Resort. There’s something truly spellbinding about the decor, the frightfully fun treats, and those spooky fall vibes that drift through the air like ghostly whispers from Halloween Town itself.
As you mentioned, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World will be hosting
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights from August 15 to October 31, 2025.
Just recently, it was announced that tickets will go on sale May 22, 2025. That event is sure to be a graveyard smash for everyone lucky enough to snag a ticket.
Now, when it comes to the delightfully eerie
Oogie Boogie Bash at California Adventure, we’re still awaiting the official word on ticket sales for 2025. While we don’t yet know the exact sale date, we do know the Bash kicks off on August 17 and continues on select nights through August, September, and October. Last year, tickets went on sale in June—but beware! Dates may shift like shadows of Oggie Boogie himself, so I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog or following
Disneyland on Instagram for the latest ghoulish updates.
In the meantime, it’s never too early to start conjuring up your
costume! Dressing up is one of the most spooktacular parts of the Oogie Boogie Bash. Whether you go as a group or create a look inspired by your favorite villain, it’s a frightfully fun way to join the celebration. A couple of years ago, I dressed as the Queen of Hearts and took some unforgettable photos in the Villains Grove—right in her eerie domain!
I hope this advice brings a little moonlit magic to your planning, Ryan. If you have more questions or need extra tricks and tips, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to add a little extra pixie dust—and maybe just a pinch of pumpkin spice—to your Disney dreams.
Creep it real,
Melinda
