Ghastly greetings to you, Janine. Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for bringing this terrifying question to us that I'm simply dying to answer.
Halloween Time is one of my favorite times at the Disneyland Resort and
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party is a big reason why.
Congratulations on getting your claws on tickets to this coveted event. It's quite exciting that Halloween Time and the first dates for the bash will arrive at the resort in less than two months - can you believe it? I love to hear that you're in full planning mode to make the most of your time during Oogie Boogie Bash.
I chatted with a Cast Member about dining reservations during the event and they shared that because there is limited capacity during these events, you most likely will not need reservations. They did also recommend to keep checking to see if anything opens up that may require them. You can also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to see if any special dining options will be offered during the event. I remember there were some offerings in 2021, however, there were not any offerings last year. It's best to keep our eyes peeled to see if anything changes.
I hope you're planning your costumes and practicing your skeleton dance for the big bash. Here are a few tips from me. Remember you can enter Disney California Adventure Park up to three hours before the party officially starts at 6:00 p.m. I also like to bring a larger bag with me to carry around my haul of treats. You will be given a bag at check-in, however, I like the convenience of having a bigger bag. Don't forget to download the
Disneyland app for your visit. You'll find a map of the resort, attraction wait times and (my favorite) the
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering feature.
Janine, while this might not be the answer you were hoping for, I hope the information is still helpful as you plan your spooktacular evening at Oogie Boogie Bash. Be sure to "hurry baaaack" with any other questions.
Happy haunting,
Michelle
