For the Oogie boogie bash it says I need a reservation do I need a reservation if I already paid for the ticket ?

Boo to you, Mia, and welcome to planDisney! Sounds like you have a frightfully fun visit to the Happiest Place on Earth coming up soon! Thank you for stopping by with your great question!

According to the Disneyland website, Guests with a ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash do not need to make a theme park reservation to enter California Adventure Park at 3pm or later. So, no scares there!

The party officially begins at 6pm, but Oogie Boogie Bash Guests are allowed to enter the park at 3pm on the date of their ticket. I recommend using this "mix in" time before the party officially starts to take pictures (while your costume is fresh) and enjoy a meal in the park so you're fueled up for fun. You'll also likely have time during the mix in to ride an attraction or two, if you want. But don't spend too much time in lines, as wait times should be pretty short during the party!

My son and I had so much fun at Oogie Boogie Bash last year and were especially enchanted by the hauntingly beautiful Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail - definitely a highlight and something to prioritize, if you can. Tip: Find a spot for the Frightfully Fun Parade 15-20 minutes before start time near Ariel's Undersea Adventure. Then, immediately after the parade is over (which will be delightful), head directly to Villains Grove. You might be able to bypass some of the crowds this way!

I hope this information has been helpful and you have a ghoulishly good time at Oogie Boogie Bash, Mia! And remember, if any other planning questions come up, or if you'd like more details on Oogie Boogie Bash and how to maximize the magic while you're there, please don't hesitate to reach out again!

    See you real soon!

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
