When going to the Oogie Boogie Bash at 3pm, if we catch the shuttle at the Toy Story parking lot, will we go through security there as well? Also, how early do you recommend we arrive if we only have party tickets? Thank you! ❤️

Hi there, Angela. Spooktacular greetings to you! Thanks for stopping by with another great question.

Oogie Boogie Bash is one of my very favorite events of the year. I am so happy to hear you'll be attending and are already strategizing! The Toy Story Parking Area has a security checkpoint, but it tends to be used more in the mornings, as more Guests arrive at that time. Later in the day, sometimes that checkpoint will close and Guests will be directed to the Harbor Boulevard security area once they disembark the Toy Story bus. On Oogie Boogie Bash nights, there is no telling whether they will utilize the security area at the Toy Story Parking Area or if they'll have those Guests use the one closer to the parks. Rest assured though, that Guests will only need to go through one security screening on the way into the park.

Angela, if you want to arrive at Oogie Boogie Bash as close to 3:00 PM as possible, I recommend getting to the parking area at least an hour to an hour before, if not earlier. Many Guests love to arrive as soon as they're allowed to enter for the party mix-in so it can get a little busy. You'll want to give yourself plenty of time to park, go through security, and scan into the theme park. If you don't want to get to the party right at 3:00 PM, I've found even an hour after the mix-in start time tends to have shorter lines for both security and Disney California Adventure Main Entrance Gate

Before you get your spooky on, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog Halloween Foodie Guide. It just dropped last week and has all of the frighteningly fun foods that you can try while at the Disneyland Resort. I'm looking forward to trying the Cappuccino Cart Peanut Butter Cold Brew and the Lava Cake from Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream.

Angela, I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you've got any other questions. I'm dying to help!

    See you real soon,
    Melissa
