Boo to you, Travis, and welcome to
planDisney!
I’m so excited for you to experience the frightful fun of
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party next month! I visited Disney California Adventure Park last night before the event began, and I loved seeing all the creative costumes Guests came up with! It sounds like your costume is going to be just as creative, Travis! I checked the
Costume Guidelines on
Disneyland.com, and it looks like your beard should be alright, since it won’t be covering your entire face. According to the guidelines, costume masks of any kind may not be worn by Guests ages 14 and older, but I wouldn’t consider a beard over your chin the same as a mask. As long as your eyes, nose, and mouth can be seen, I think you should be alright!
From the immersive treat trails to the mysterious Villains Grove, there’s so much to see and do during this event! I caught a glimpse of Ernesto de la Cruz as I was leaving the park last night, and he looked amazing! You may want to attempt to visit him during one of the parade viewings for a shorter wait. Also, if you can, I recommend waiting until the very end of the party to visit Villains Grove to experience the walk through Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at your own pace. You could head over to Villains Grove after the second showing of the Frightfully Fun Parade for the perfect timing!
Wishing you a grim, grinning good time!
