Are oogie boogie bash held every Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays every year? Planning of trip in October 2026. Debating if we would like to participate in the oogie boogie bash or not. If we do not, we would like to plan around that event.

Boo to you, Nancy—and welcome back to planDisney! It makes me so happy to see you returning with another question as you plan your hauntingly fun Fall 2026 visit.

When it comes to Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, the event is traditionally held on select Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, though the exact mix of nights may shift from year to year. Last season, the Disneyland Resort even surprised us by announcing the following year’s dates as early as December on the Disney Parks Blog, so I recommend checking there beginning in early December in case they follow the same pattern for 2026. Once dates are confirmed, tickets usually go on sale in June, and they do sell out quickly, so it’s wise to mark your calendar and be ready when those frightfully fun sales begin.

If this will be your first time attending Oogie Boogie Bash, Nancy, you’re in for a spooktacular experience. You'll get a chance to wander through delightfully ghoulish treat trails hosted by Disney villains, explore the enchanting and slightly eerie Villains Grove in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, and enjoy rare character encounters that make for truly spellbinding photo opportunities. Because the party is a limited-capacity event, many attractions also feature much shorter wait times, adding a little extra magic to your evening.

If you choose not to attend the Bash, just keep in mind that Disney California Adventure Park closes early on party nights. That means you’ll want to plan your visit accordingly if your October trip overlaps with those dates—perhaps spending the evening at Disneyland Park instead or enjoying a relaxing night at the Downtown Disney District and Disneyland Resort Hotels. Either way, your trip is sure to be filled with both spooky thrills and plenty of pixie dust.

No matter how you choose to experience Halloween Time, Nancy, you’ll find that every corner of the Disneyland Resort is alive with glowing pumpkins, mischievous villains, and a festive spirit that lingers long after the sun goes down. I hope your 2026 adventure is nothing short of enchanting, and that it leaves you with memories as sweet as a whole bag of trick-or-treat candy. Until then, may your planning be just as magical as your upcoming visit!

    Ghoul-bye for now!
