Hi since Oogie boogie bash begins August 17, but the park is scheduled to be decorated for Halloween on August 22, can we expect to see any decorations on August 17?

    Hi Sabina,

Thanks for visiting planDisney. We've been dying... to have you! The Halloween decorations are some of my absolute favorites at Disneyland. They are so creative and unique to each land. It’s amazing how hard Cast Members work behind the scenes, late into the night, to make the Resort spooktacular!

As you mentioned, the official start of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is August 22. By that date, all the decorations should be up, and all Halloween Time events will begin. Leading up to August 22, I’m sure we’ll start to see some decorations begin to appear. Since the Oogie Boogie Bash will be taking place on August 17, I’m sure there will be a significant amount of decoration up in Disney California Adventure by that point.

We’re nearly halfway to Halloween (April 30/May 1)! I hope we’ll start to hear from Disney about what might be coming to the parks for Halloween Time 2025. Hopefully, we’ll also get a concrete date for when Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will go on sale. Follow @Disneyparks on Instagram to stay up to date on all the Halloween news! Check out last year’s Foodie Guide to get yourself in the Halloween mood!

I hope this was helpful information, Sabina. If you have any other questions, need additional help, or would love more advice, please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelists, and we’d be happy to assist.

    Hurry back!
