Ho-Ho-Hello and a very merry welcome to planDisney, Cori!
Although it's currently 'midday break by your Disney Resort hotel pool' season at Walt Disney World Resort, it's the most wonderful time of the year to stop by planDisney, because we are officially halfway to the holidays! Merrily, Disney Parks Blog just marked this magical milestone with the
announcement of various holiday offerings and events at Disney destinations around the world, so your question has come at the practically perfect time! Walt Disney World has not only announced the dates of the 2024 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights but information on how to purchase tickets as well!
If you are looking to attend the beloved
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park, then you'll want to mark either July 2 or July 10 on your calendar. Guests who hold a reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, or Shades of Green will be able to purchase tickets for dates during their stay beginning July 2 while all other Guests will need to wait until July 10.
While many of my panelist pals are partial to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, I will always gravitate towards the tinsel, lights, and
classic Hollywood glamour of
Disney Jollywood Nights in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Conveniently, the same purchase dates apply for tickets to Jollywood Nights as was the case for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so if you're feeling extra-festive and would like to attend both celebrations, you can purchase your tickets at the same time!
It looks like you'll arrive at the very end of the Christmas party dates, so if you're looking for other ways to celebrate the season in The Most Magical Place on Earth, I encourage you to check out
Disney Parks Blog's article specific to Walt Disney World Resort. There you'll find a helpful list of holiday favorites both in and out of the theme parks!
Since the Disney Parks Blog helpfully reminded us that we are halfway to the holidays, this also serves as a reminder that you are halfway to your family vacation, Cori! I do hope that you'll
stop back by planDisney with any additional questions that arise as you plan. We'll leave the (Christmas) lights on for you!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
