It’s so nice to see you around these parts again, especially when the topic is something as important as Disney hot chocolate! In my family, my kids genuinely look forward to our resort evenings because they know it usually ends with their Rapid Refill mugs filled with rich, creamy hot cocoa. It’s their favorite nightcap after a long park day, and if I’m honest, I’m right there with them! Especially on those random chilly Florida nights that sneak up on us.
Here’s the good news. In my experience, most
Disney Resort hotels that offer Rapid Refill Mugs tend to have a hot chocolate option available at the self-serve beverage stations, usually right alongside the coffee machines at their
quick-service dining locations. Just recently, after a delicious and fun dinner at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, my crew and I ended up at
Roaring Fork for treats, and the hot chocolate called to me. Florida decided to serve us one of those surprisingly cold nights, and sipping cocoa by the fireplace with good company and those cozy lodge vibes was absolute perfection.
It’s important to note that while hot chocolate is commonly offered, it’s not guaranteed every night at every resort. Availability can vary based on location, season, time of day, or even that particular evening’s setup. If you don’t see it out, a Cast Member can usually let you know if it’s coming later or point you in the right direction.
