Welcome to planDisney, Brandi! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is going to be a great tool for your family if you're traveling with someone who cannot wait in a traditional queue due to a disability. DAS has recently been updated to allow for
pre-registration through a video chat, and I'm happy to let you know exactly how to do it and when it will be ready to use.
Brandi, you can pre-register for DAS between 2 and 30 days in advance of your trip. Live chat is available from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time and the person registering for DAS
must be present in order to complete the process. Given this timeframe, you will need to complete your registration before the end of the day on October 25. If you're unable to chat with a Cast Member before that time, there's no need to worry because there is another way! You can also register for DAS at any
Guest Relations location. You'll chat with a Cast Member about your needs, and they will help you determine what accommodations are right for you. If you're approved for DAS, they will take your picture, connect the other members of your party, and you'll be all set. Once that's done, the DAS tile will pop up in the main menu of the
My Disney Experience app and you can begin to select return times.
An important note: if you are approved for DAS using the online chat, the DAS tile will not appear in My Disney Experience until you use your ticket to enter a Theme Park for the first time.
I hope this answers your question, Brandi, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
