    Online verification for Florida resident?

Hey David, and a big warm welcome to planDisney!

If you're looking to verify your Florida residency online for Discount Tickets or Annual Passes at Walt Disney World, you're in luck! Disney offers a digital verification option that can save you time and effort. Here’s a general idea of how it works:

When you purchase Florida Resident tickets through the official Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app, you’ll be prompted to verify your residency during checkout. It’s a pretty smooth process, and once it’s complete, you’ll be able to skip the line at Guest Relations when you arrive.

To verify, Disney will ask you to upload proof of Florida residency. Typically, that means a valid Florida driver’s license, state-issued ID, or military ID with a Florida address. If you don’t have one of those, don’t worry. You can still verify by showing another accepted document like a recent utility bill, mortgage statement, or mail from a government agency, as long as it lists your Florida address and is dated within the last two months.

If you complete the verification online, you’re all set to head straight to the magic once you arrive! But I always recommend keeping your ID handy just in case it’s requested at the gate. It’s a quick process that makes the start of your park day even smoother, because let’s be real, nobody wants to wait when there’s a Mickey pretzel calling your name!

Wishing you a seamless verification experience and a vacation filled with sunshine, palm trees, and a little extra Florida magic.

With pixie dust and happy planning,
