Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Vicki. We're so glad you stopped by with this great question!
As part of
Disney's phased reopening, Guests need
Theme Park Reservations in addition to valid admission for entry into the theme parks. Once your
Theme Park Tickets are purchased, you can make Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System, pending reservation availability. If the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online shows that there's no availability for the date you'd like to visit, then, unfortunately, you won't find availability at the theme park gate either. You could certainly still purchase Theme Park Tickets at a ticket window or online, but without a Theme Park Reservation linked to that ticket, you won't be able to enter the theme parks.
If you can be flexible with your schedule, I suggest taking a look at the Theme Park Reservation availability calendar and finding a date that shows availability. Purchase your Theme Park Ticket, link it to your
My Disney Experience account, and then book that all-important Theme Park Reservation right away. If you can't be flexible with your visit, I recommend checking the calendar frequently throughout the day. You never know when someone's last-minute canceled plans may make new plans for you!
Did you know that there are no entry fees or parking fees associated with a visit to
Disney Springs? A visit to Disney Springs is a must-do for anyone traveling to Orlando. With 100 retail locations and over 50 dining options, you can shop (and eat!) until you drop!
I hope this was helpful, Vicki. Please let us know if you have any other questions about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!
