With the online regristation are we still able to use our Park hopper passes?

Hello there, Jessica! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about my favorite way to spend a Disney day - park hopping!

Jessica, right now to visit Walt Disney World you need two things. 1 - valid theme park admission either standard or with the park hopper option and 2 - park pass reservations for each day you'd like to go to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Park hopping just recently returned to us, at the start of this year, and it does look a bit different than it did before with the new reservation system.

Here is how park hopping is currently working:

    • Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the initial theme park they'd like to visit each day
    • On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation. This sort of "activates" the park hopper feature each day
    • It is not necessary or even possible to continue to make park pass reservations throughout the day to park hop. You only need to hold that initial one each day
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening
    • To make park hopping a little more convenient for Guests right now, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided.
So, Jessica, as long as you have your first park reserved each day you are good to go. Then, after 2:00 p.m. you can visit any or all of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks that you'd like each day! I love spending the mornings checking off some of my must-do attractions and then in the evenings hopping over to Epcot to enjoy snacks and drinks around the World Showcase for dinner. It's my favorite way to spend the day.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about park hopping. I hope you have so much fun on your vacation that is just a few days away. If you have any other last-minute questions, please feel free to ask me directly and I'll be happy to help. Have fun and happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
