Got an on-line quote for both Coronado Springs and AKL with Savanna View for similar price. Which one? Kids are 4 and 2, and want to do AK and MK, but seems like a long bus ride to MK. Would it be better to rent a car?

The room rates differ greatly between these two resorts, Shannon.  It's very unusual that the pricing would be so comparable (unless you're pricing a suite at Coronado Springs).  Whatever the case may be, though, my recommendation would be to opt for the Animal Kingdom Lodge hands down.  It's a gorgeous resort with an impressive lobby, fantastic pool, and great dining options right on site.  Not to mention the fact that your children will likely adore the ability to see wildlife right from the balcony of your room.  Travel time to the Magic Kingdom is a bit long, but travel time to Animal Kingdom would be similar were you to stay at a Magic Kingdom area resort.  With kids as young as yours it certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to rent a car; it's my personal preferred method of travel around the resort.  That said, many guests utilize Disney's complimentary resort transportation without trouble. Have a great trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
