Online Disney shows that the buses start at 45 minutes before park opening. But many online resources show that Disney will start the buses around 6:30 in the morning. If you have reservations at like 7:30 or 8am..will you be able to get a bus?

    Hello Joseph!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my favorite benefits as a Disney resort hotel Guest is being able to enjoy complimentary transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.

Buses really do start running 45 minutes prior to park opening, so if you have a dining reservation for 7:30 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. then I recommend taking a taxi to the theme park or Disney Resort hotel where the restaurant is located. Disney advises Guests to plan 1.5 hours to travel between destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort when using complimentary transportation. In addition, they also advise that you arrive at the restaurant 15 minutes ahead of your reservation time, and don’t forget that you have to go through security at the entrance of the theme parks.

If you are having breakfast at a restaurant inside one of the theme parks, then I suggest arriving at park entrance at least 30 minutes before your reservation. That’s why I prefer to take a taxi.  This way you won’t risk arriving late and missing a reservation, and nobody needs stress and anxiety when starting their day at the most magical place on earth.

Moms Panel tip: don’t forget that dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance online, using the My Disney Experience mobile app or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
