Aloha Keith!
In not too long you will be in
Walt Disney World ready to plummet down mountains, fly with Peter Pan and enjoy a Dole Whip.
Staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a fabulous choice. Quick access to the monorail allows you to be at the
Magic Kingdom in a bibbidi bobbidi boo minute. You can easily hop back to your resort in the afternoon for a break at the Lava Pool with its cascading waterfall and amazing waterslide. Be sure to try the Kona coffee the resort offers.
Guests staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort do get some sweet benefits such as free transportation and early access to every theme park each day and to
individual Lightning Lane selections. Deluxe resort guests have
Extended Evening Hours at
Epcot and the Magic Kingdom on select nights. Currently, however, there is no privilege that grants you priority to dining reservations.
The issue could be the size of your party. I have found booking for my family of seven quite difficult. When just my husband and I are looking for a table, I often find multiple possibilities. Consider calling a Cast Member at (407) 939-3463 who can help you with a large dining reservation.
Wishing you a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
