Hi, on-line check-in for Wilderness requests have options of "surf's up section" or "home run section". What is this? where are these areas in the resort? one better then the other? Thanks so much.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms, Wendy!

I hope you are looking forward to your upcoming stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! I can't think of a more relaxing resort to call home after a long day in the theme parks.

I believe the online check-in system is currently experiencing an issue, as there have been several reports of "Home Run" and "Surf's Up" showing up as sections available for selection during the online check-in process for several resorts. These two options are sections located at Disney's All-Store Sports Resort, not Disney's Wilderness Lodge. However, if you have concerns or want to ensure your reservation information is accurate, I advise giving Disney's resort reservations a call at 1(407) 939-4357-- just to be sure.

Sorry for the confusion, Wendy! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you finalize preparations for your visit to Walt Disney World® Resort. We are here to help!

    Have a magical vacation!
