With online check-in, I understand we can bypass the Front Desk. But what about the Magic Bands? Are they activated once we complete online check-in? Upon arriving, are we able to eat at our resort utilizing our Counter Service credit via the Magic Bands?

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the great things about My Disney Experience is that Disney has placed everything in one spot for your convenience.  If you are able to view your MagicBands on your account, then you should be all set.  If you've setup FastPass+ and your Disney Dining Plan with your reservation, they you will be set to enjoy your Counter Service dining experience upon arrival and make your FastPass+ reservation times without having to stop by the front desk upon check-in day. Just make sure that you have a cell phone number on file so a text can be sent to you with your resort room number.  Just be sure that you complete the WHOLE online check-in process.  This include assigning a four digit PIN to your account.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Make sure to take advantage of the complimentary Disney Transportation Service (buses) which is provided to all guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resorts.  Well, you are the one on vacation, so why not let Disney do all the driving.

Thank you so much for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  May your upcoming WDW vacation be filled with many new and MAGICAL memories.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
