I would like to use the online check-in but what happens if we can’t make the trip unexpectedly? Can we still cancel the reservations or stuck?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Cancellation policies and fees vary depending on the type of vacation package you have booked. If you have a Room-only reservation, then you have up until five (5) days prior to your Resort stay to cancel without penalty. If you have booked a vacation package that includes Park Tickets and or a Disney Dining Plan, then you have up until 30 days prior to your Resort stay to cancel without penalty. If you need to cancel after the thirty (30) day time period, then there is a $200 cancellation fee.

You may still cancel your Reservation even if you have completed Online Check-In. As I mentioned above, if it is within the thirty (30) day time period then a cancellation fee will be applied.

I hope everything works out and you are able to enjoy a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Please come see us again should you have any additional vacation planning questions!
