Our Online Check-In date for our Disney Wish cruise is approaching, and we want to secure as early a boarding time as is available. Do you know how early that morning we can complete the Check-In, and what information is needed at that time? Thanks!

    Hello there, Douglas!

I’m so glad that you reached out to planDisney with this question. Like you, I always want to board the Disney Cruise Line ships as early as possible. You will always find me completing my online check-in as soon as it becomes available 30 days before you set sail.

Douglas, I recommend being online at midnight Eastern time, 30 days before you set sail. You’ll need to enter all of the information below for each Guest in your party. I like to ensure I gather all this information a week or so before check-in. Once you enter all of the information below, you’ll have the option to select a Port Arrival Time and receive an Online Check-In Port Arrival Form to present when you arrive at the port. Don’t worry if your online check-in status says that it’s pending. This just means that your information is being reviewed. However, if your information still says pending five days before your departure, make sure to call a Cast Member at Disney Cruise Line to help you sort it out.

    Here’s what you’ll need for online check-in:

    • Your citizenship documentation. You will still need this documentation when you arrive at the port.
    • Credit Card information
    • Photo of each member of your travel party for their security photo. Please note that the photos need to be in a JPEG format. The security process will go smoothly as long as the photo is taken from the shoulders up against a white background and you don’t have glasses or a hat obstructing your face.

Douglas, if anyone in your party is interested in experiencing character meet-and-greets like the Royal Gathering, I recommend making that complimentary reservation after completing your online check-in 30 days before sailing. This is a very popular experience and tends to book up quickly. Let us know if you are looking for any other magical tips to help you plan out your vacation.

May the magic be with you!
