Ahoy there, Claire! Welcome to planDisney!
I believe you’re asking about how to complete your Online Check-In, which I’d be happy to explain further. I always get excited whenever it’s time to complete my Online Check-in because it means that my Disney cruise vacation is right on the horizon!
Online Check-In is how you check in to your Disney cruise. Each guest has a different Online Check-In date that is determined by their
Castaway Club status. If you’re unsure of your Castaway Club status, there’s a helpful reminder of the date you may begin your Online Check-In on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You may complete your Online Check-In both on the Disney Cruise Line website or in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App by logging in to your reservation.
Some items and
documents you will need to complete your Online Check-In are:
- Valid passport or other form of citizenship documentation
- Headshot photo of each guest in your stateroom
- Travel information, such as inbound and/or outbound flight information
- Disembarkation details, such as post-cruise rental car, etc.
- Payment information that will be used to purchase anything on board, such as a credit card
- Information about kids younger than 18 who will be visiting the Youth Clubs on board
You will start by completing the identification section for each guest in your stateroom, then move on to travel information, payment information while on board, youth club registration, and finally, a section to choose a Port Arrival Time for the exciting day you embark on your cruise!
My biggest tip for completing your Online Check-In is to make sure you have clear photos of your citizenship documents and photos of the guests in your stateroom. I also like to have all of our pre-and-post-cruise travel information handy, so that I’m not scrambling to grab it all as I’m in the middle of doing my Online Check-In.
Claire, I hope this helped offer further clarification. Completing it means you're even closer to your Disney cruise! I wish you many wonderful memories ahead.
You’ve Got a Friend in Me,
Rana
