    The online calendar for Animal Kingdom for the week of November 26th, 2016 shows the park closes at 5:00 p.m. each evening. What about the new evening Alive with Magic show? Will it still be available late November?

    Hi Barb! We have been getting a lot of questions regarding park hours for the fall season at Walt Disney World.

    Disney often does not post hours months in advance. I assume they like to see how the resort bookings are holding before they can determine the times. And even then often during the day they will make announcements about extending a park's hours if the crowds dictate the need. It is not easy to estimate how many guests will be in parks and which one so I do appreciate their need to staff enough cast on each day.

    Of course that makes it a bit harder for guests to make plans 180 days out especially for the dining. Animal Kingdom Park at Night has just begun with all sorts of amazing new happenings in the park. This has been announced as a summer incentive but I do know there is great hope this will be a permanent fixture for Animal Kingdom. They will be watching the crowds and numbers this summer and if it proves to be successful I am confident it will continue. Keep watching the website for news of the extended hours for the fall. I will be arriving in November and also waiting for dining packages to become available.
