Will online banks/financial institutes statements work for proof of residency?

Hey Howdy Hey Tiffany and welcome back to planDisney!

Of the many perks to being a Florida resident, I would say being close to Walt Disney World Resort is one of the top! Just a quick drive away from the Magic would be such a huge benefit for many occasions. Thank you for your question about proof of residency for Florida resident ticket pricing, I will be happy to provide you with more information.

Tiffany, you are correct that to take advantage of Florida Resident Disney Theme Park Ticket pricing, you must show proof of residency. You can do this in two ways, but let's review what qualifies first. Any government-issued form of identification such as a driver's license, state-issued ID card or Florida-based military ID will work. If you want to use other forms of proof of residency such as bills, mail including bank statements or automobile registration, you are more than welcome to as long as these are no more than 2 months old.

As mentioned, you can show your proof of residency in two ways. The first would be when you purchase your theme park tickets online or through your My Disney Experience app. As you are moving through the steps to complete your purchase, you will be given the option to fill out "Your Florida Resident Information" online. You will also see the "Customize Your Tickets" step if you are purchasing tickets through your My Disney Experience app. Either way, you will be able to upload your proof of residency as you are making the purchase and as long as everything is valid, you are all set!  The other way to show your proof of residency is at any Vacation Planning window before you enter the parks to validate your tickets.

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Feel free to stop back with any other questions you may have, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
