Hello Frank,
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney.
It's great to hear that you're planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. As you make your plans, you'll want to start with taking a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. The calendar will help you see which theme parks have reservations that are available to select for the dates you want to visit.
If you have a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket that has
expired and remains unused, you can typically apply the price you paid for that ticket towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket that is priced the same as or higher than your original ticket. My best suggestion in your situation is to
give a call to the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639, and speak with a Cast Member on the tickets team for assistance with your ticket.
You'll also want to be sure to make your theme park reservation for your visit using the
Disney Park Pass system.
The
My Disney Experience mobile app can be used to
change the dates of theme park tickets before a ticket's valid use date. The theme park ticketing system is date-based, and so there could be some cost applied when changing ticket dates to dates that have a higher ticket price.
Frank, here's wishing you a fun and wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Jerry
