Can my one year old ride on top of my shoulders in a carrier?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Thomas!

You and your little Mouseketeer are in for a rootin' tootin' time at the Disneyland Resort. Yes, you are welcome to bring your carrier, as long as it fits within the guidelines for backpacks in the Disneyland Resort park rules. Here are a few things to keep in mind with regard to using your pack:
    • All backpacks must be removed and presented for inspection when passing through the security checkpoints outside the theme parks and Downtown Disney District.
    • Walking through narrow walkways or attraction queues, I usually find it necessary to refrain from sudden turns to avoid bumping other guests with my backpack.
    • Attractions generally do not have spaces to stow personal items while riding. Backpacks must be removed and placed at your feet within the ride vehicle. As long as the pack collapses to fit in these spaces, it should be fine.
    • If you would like a space to store backpacks and other items while you enjoy attractions and entertainment, lockers are available to rent on a first-come basis. Locker rentals allow for access throughout the day.
Stroller rentals are also available just outside the entrance to Disneyland Park. Or you may choose to take your own stroller.

Tony’s Tip: Baby Care Centers are available in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These convenient locations offer quiet spaces for feeding, changing, and caring for your little one’s needs.

I hope you have a Fantasmic! time at the Disneyland Resort, Thomas! Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if you have any more questions.
