I have a one year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I am wondering what would be a better vacation for me a Disney Cruise or Orlando? I brought my son to Orlando when he was 2 and he still talks about it! Has anyone been to both? If so what did you perfer?

    Hi Miranda!
This is an excellent question! Sailing on a Disney Cruise is an amazing experience but very different from visiting Walt Disney World.  I am struggling with giving you my preference since I love both. You have been to Walt Disney World and already know it's such a magical place.  You son will have the best time and is at a perfect age to experience more of the attractions and character greetings.  I would recommend a umbrella stroller that folds down so your daughter can nap during the day. If he still talks about the park from three years ago, you will not go wrong in returning.  We have sailed on the Disney Magic and most recently on the Disney Dream which is amazing.  There are character greetings multiple times a day, and the ship is so exciting to explore.  The ships have a kids club with counselors to entertain your children.  Your son would be in the Oceaneers Club and will have a fantastic adventure in a club made just for him! You will be jealous of his play area.  All my children love this aspect of the cruise.  Every night there are Broadway style shows either before or after dinner.  You will rotate restaurants every night and your servers will rotate with you which is so great as they know your likes and dislikes.  Finally on the Disney Dream, there is the Aqua Duck- a water ride that is so much fun!   Perhaps you should think about a Land and Sea experience and get the best of both worlds?!  Whatever you choose, I know you will have a magical vacation Miranda!
