So I dashed over to the
Club runDisney website, and here is what I found based on the 2026 benefits listed. In summary, you can become a member for 2027 when registration opens up sometime this summer. Last year opened in mid-June, so I imagine it will be around the same time again this year. Benefits begin January 1st through December 31st. Depending on which membership level you choose, you will be able to take advantage of such things as early access to the runDisney Merchandise Shop at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. Guaranteed race registration benefits for Gold and Platinum Club runDisney Members are available for all runDisney race weekends where registration opens between January 1, 2027, and December 31, 2027. For example, you could register for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in March of 2027 and receive the benefits even though the race is in 2028.
My best advice is to swing by the Club runDisney website and review the current membership levels to get an idea of what would work best for you. Please note that level benefits are subject to change prior to this year’s registration. I would also be sure to join the mailing list by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page so that you can stay up to date and be notified when registration opens.
