One week until we leave!! My son wants to build his own lightsaber. Is this available at Hollywood Studios or only at DD Once Upon a Toy. We were not planning on going to DD. If available at HS, is the experience just as good? Thank you!!!

Hi Jessica!
This is a must-do for my son when we visit WDW! The Build Your Own Lightsaber kiosk is located at Downtown Disney's Once Upon a Toy store. Although I'm pretty sure it once was available, I have been to Star Tours and the Tatooine Traders gift shop located at the exit of the Star Tours attraction and have not seen this available there. However, I think you will be visiting during Star Wars Weekends! This year, this special event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back so there are lots of surprises and exclusive Star Wars Weekends merchandise around. Besides the Tatooine Traders gift shop, be sure to visit Dark Side and Dark Side Depot. Merchandise availability is subject to change, so ask a cast member as soon as you arrive at the theme park about any special star wars kiosks or shops.
