Can one wear linen on a January cruise, or is it a faux pas to do so past Labor Day, as it would be normally ? I would love to wear linen pants, light sweaters & purses but wanted to get your thoughts first. We set sail on the Dream in a week!! Thank

    Hi Karen,

The old "don't wear this" past Labor Day is so over.  You do not need to worry about any "seasonal" rules.  Besides, we ladies know that accessorizing is the key to top fashion!  You sound like you have great taste and your description of the linen pants with the light sweaters sounds very pretty and appropriate.  Now, the only thing that comes to mind is that it does get a little chilly in the evenings on board.  I don't want you to be uncomfortable, so please take a heavier jacket or wrap for the evenings.

You're going to have a wonderful time and you're going to look smashing!  Bon Voyage!
