Hiya, Matt!
How exciting that your
great big beautiful tomorrow holds the beginning of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm so glad you're once again trusting planDisney as you finalize your plans. Like you, I love Walt Disney World's thrilling attractions. I was recently able to experience Tiana's Bayou Adventure and am happy to share that the theming is truly magical, and the drop is every bit as joyful as I remember.
As you mentioned, Guests are unable to hold two
virtual queues at the same time (this includes virtual queues made on your behalf by a linked member of your Family & Friends List ), so thrill-seeking Magic Kingdom Mouseketeers hoping to experience TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana's Bayou Adventure on the same day have the following options:
- In order to enjoy both attractions at no additional cost you'll need to join the virtual queue for both, but as you mentioned, you cannot hold boarding groups for the two simultaneously. However, if you happen to be assigned an early enough boarding group for the first attraction to redeem it before the 1 PM virtual queue for the other attraction is closed, then you will be eligible to join. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee of when your boarding group will be called regardless of the number, but you'll want to be ready to join the queue a few minutes before 7 AM to increase your chances of a lower boarding group number.
- Another option would be to join the virtual queue for one attraction and purchase a Lightning Lane pass for the other. If you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass you'll have access to more than just one attraction, so it is likely a better value. Please keep in mind that there are a limited number of entries for each attraction, so even if you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, there's no guarantee you will be able to use it for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. My husband and I were unable to secure entry initially but added it later in the day as people modified their plans. While Lightning Lane Single Pass would only give you access to a single attraction, purchasing one for TRON Lightcycle / Run is a guarantee that you will be able to experience it (assuming there are no closures for weather or technical difficulties). If you decide to go this route, I would suggest selecting a later return window to enjoy the lights of the attraction at night.
I hope this information helps you embark on a
practically perfect day in Magic Kingdom Park. If you have any additional questions about your vacation feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
