Hi Ariel! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question about dining reservations.
I'm sorry to hear there were technical difficulties and you weren't able to secure a dining reservation for
Oga's Cantina when reservations opened up 60 days out from your visit. Oga's Cantina is a pretty popular reservation choice and on top of that, the date you selected makes it an even more wanted reservation to get. While I do consider myself quite advanced with my reservation acquiring skills, I do not have a Jedi master's mind trick abilities to trick the reservation system for you. I do have a few tips though that may help.
- Don't give up hope! Keep checking the
reservation system. As Guests cancel or change their plans reservation availability does constantly change. If there's something I'm looking for in particular I will check every day at random times to see if I can't find something to pop up. I have the best luck in the few days leading up to that reservation date, especially in the 24 - 48 hour range when cancellations must be done to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Oga's Cantina does take walk-up reservations for weary travelers. I've been able to get a spot at Oga's Cantina many times the day of my visit. Again, May the Fourth is going to bring a larger crowd to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, so it may be a bit harder. Head to Batuu and when you are close in proximity to Oga's Cantina, search "Oga's Cantina" in the search option of the Disneyland app. Click on the page and near the menu, there will be an option to "
Join the Walk-Up List". Now this will open and close depending on availability at that time, so check back again later if it isn't open the first time you try.
Ariel, I hope these tips help you snag those Oga's Cantina reservations so you can enjoy a Fuzzy Tauntaun while DJ R-3X drops his best galactic beats. Till the Spire!
Carrie
