Hello again, Rachele!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re so happy you’ve come back with another question!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is one of my favorite seasons at parks! I love the Characters in costume, pumpkin spice treats and
Oogie Boogie Bash! But I can understand that you’d like to experience the Disneyland Resort in its classic state. Dates for Halloween Time have not been released, but let’s take a look at last year’s dates to get a better idea of what to expect this year. In 2019, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort started on September 6, 2019 and ended on October 31, 2019. Labor Day was on September 2, 2019. This year, Labor Day falls on September 7, 2020. So if you plan your trip for August 30 to September 5, there is a good chance the parks won’t be full of Halloween decorations yet. Please keep in mind that decorations are usually done in phases. So you may still see some pumpkins around the parks even if it’s not officially Halloween Time.
One place that does not decorate for the holidays is the Planet of Batuu. If you have not already, make sure to visit
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on your next visit. You won’t want to miss piloting the
Millennium Falcon and drinking Blue and Green Milk. Also make sure to experience the all-new
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It’s one of the most immersive rides I’ve ever been on. I know you’re going to love it.
If you think of any other questions before your trip, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
