One tip I've seen in multiple places is to avoid the specific park that is hosting the Extra Magic Hours for that day because the crowds will invariably be bigger there. My question is, does the same reasoning go for the Special Ticketed Events?

    Hello Bronwyn!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

One of the reasons I love having the Park Hopper option on my Walt Disney World theme park tickets is so I can go to the Extra Magic Hours and then hop to a different park when the crowds start rolling in.

During hard-ticket events that require a separate ticket like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, usually the opposite is true. It's generally a good day to visit Magic Kingdom Park, because many guests will choose another park since they can't stay for the nighttime entertainment without purchasing a party ticket.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
