If you can only make one theme park reservation per day how do you take advantage of the park hopper option?

Hello, Claudia, and welcome to our little corner of the web!

Park hopping is the perfect way to hit the highlights at multiple theme parks on the same day. For people who are keeping their trip on the shorter side, it allows you to pack in tons of theme park fun in fewer days. Or, you might just want to start the day at one park and end with dinner and fireworks at another. Heck, you could hit up all four parks on the same day if you wanted!

With the new theme park reservation requirement, it can be a little confusing to know what to do. You will still need to make your theme park reservation for the park where you plan to start your day. You do have to go to that park to scan in if you want to take advantage of park hopping. Once you've scanned into the park where your reservation is, you are free to hop on over to any of the other theme parks after 2 PM.

Just a quick sidenote - you won't be able to hop to a park that is already filled to capacity. If you have the My Disney Experience app on your smartphone, you'll get notified that a park is full and not participating in park hopping. Alternatively, you can call 407-560-5000 to find out if a park is unavailable for hopping.

Don't forget, you can always return to the park where you started. Oh - and if you purchase Genie+, it hops with you!

I hope you have an awesome time on your upcoming trip, Claudia!
